1. Be curious
You can鈥檛 grow your without curiosity. When you鈥檙e curious, you鈥檙e open to exploring new ideas and experiences, meeting new people, and learning new things.听
No one expects you to know everything, especially early on, so don鈥檛 be afraid to ask questions. Faking it 鈥榯il you make it is one thing, but acting like you hold all the knowledge is not the way to go.听
While you may be worried asking questions makes you look less intelligible, leaders have a high level of respect for those who show interest 鈥 asking your mentors, managers, and experts questions exposes your desire to learn and grow.听

Mistakes are inevitable, and they have the potential to be very positive moments depending on how you choose to react to them.听
When things don鈥檛 go according to plan, we can respond in one of two ways 鈥 apologize and sulk in the embarrassment we may feel, or use it as an opportunity to grow and learn something new about ourselves, another person, or a situation.听

Learning new skills through LinkedIn Learning, seeking out continued education at universities and colleges, building your online brand, and even just connecting with leaders in your field are all great ways to take you to the next level.听

Cold emailing, cold messaging on platforms like LinkedIn, or simply walking into a storefront to hand out a , when done effectively, can be a great way to connect with thought leaders and companies you鈥檙e interested in doing work for or learning from.听
